Zee Cele
Chairman and Co-founder of Sport For All Franchising
Zee play's a vital role for Sport For All Franchising with regards to corporate governance, key relationships and high-level strategy. Zee is a top athlete turned businesswoman and as such has the ideal attributes to be Sport For All Franchising's leader and spokesperson.
Zee knows first hand what amazing opportunities sport can provide to uplift communities, in particular the historically disadvantaged.
Practicing as a Tax Consultant and Financial Accountant, Zee has been running her Durban based company since 1989. She holds a Master of Accountancy (Taxation) degree from Natal University. In 1995, Zee obtained the Executive Leader Development Program certificate from Arthur D. Little Management and Education Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
Warren Bond
Director and Co-founder of Sport For All Franchising
Born in 1971, Warren is our youngest Director and shareholder. He plays a key role at Sport For All Franchising, in leadership, culture and in development of the program.
Warren is qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He Obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree at the University of Natal in 1991, his Honours Diploma in Accounting in 1992 and was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1995. He also received bursaries for academic prowess from both Anglo Alpha and KPMG. Warren also became one of the youngest partners ever of an established Accounting Firm, named Joubert, Lambert and Castleden.
As a youngster, Warren excelled at a number of sports. He represented KwaZulu Natal in Hockey, Cricket, Tennis, Squash and Baseball and plays golf socially. Warren settled on Hockey as his main sport. He was the captain of the Kwazulu Natal team aswell as the South Africa's under 21 team. He also played for Western Province, Southern Gauteng, SA Indoor and SA Universities. Warren also captained the South African Men's Hockey Team in a 5 test series against Spain in 2003.
Warren is responsible for having developed Sport For All over 10 years ago as well as two other projects for historically disadvantaged communities.
Peter Forshaw
Director of Sport For All Franchising
Peter is a Charted Accountant with extensive experience in Franchising. Amongst many things, Peter's core competency is the creation of business plans, corporate structuring, financial strategies and obtaining financing for businesses.
Peter graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and continued his studies at the University of South Africa, where he obtained Honours in a Bachelor of Accounting degree. He became a registered Accountant and Auditor in 1990 and a Chartered Accountant in July 1992. Peter worked at Price Water House and Waterman's where he was made a partner. Thereafter Peter went into Franchising.
Franchising is Peter's main area of expertise. He was part of the partnership that brought the Postnet and Cash Converters franchises to South Africa. At present Peter is a Director in True North Holdings, Cash Converters and Multiserv. Peter has been in Franchising over 15 years and in addition brings his extensive financial and business experience to Sport For All Franchising.
Kelli Givens
Chief Executive Officer
Kelli Givens is a social entrepreneur who developed her skills in both franchising and social development over a 25 year career in business and non-profit ventures. Kelli owned and operated a graphic design business in New York City as well as four McDonald’s and 47 Pizza Hut franchises which constituted the largest minority woman-owned franchise company in the USA.
After divesting her business interests, Kelli transferred her focus to philanthropy, undertaking senior NGO management positions in Southern Africa with Habitat for Humanity, CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation, Starfish Greathearts Foundation and SOS Children’s Villages. In 2002, Kelli was named one of Worth magazine’s ‘25 Most Generous Young Americans’ - Individuals who give time, have compassion and are willing to devote creative energy to endeavors that don’t bring personal fame and fortune.
Kelli grew up in a professional athletic family and excelled in basketball, softball and athletics as a child. She earned an athletic scholarship to university where she played basketball, volleyball and softball. At age 40, Kelli won the Iowa State Bodybuilding Championships in the novice and masters divisions.
Marie Locker
Key Accounts Manager
Marie studied travel and tourism and worked in the travel industry for eight years in corporate sales, handling communications, reporting, conferencing and public relations. She also spent her free time doing fundraising for Boksburg Rotaract and was an active member for four years and president from 2003-2004.
Road running is Marie's passion, having provincial colours for cross country and athletics as a junior. She has a great love for children and believes in a bright future for South Africa with the implementation of the BEE Codes of Good Practice.
Agresham Shingange
Operations
Agresham started with the True North Group as a learner through Boston City Campus in 2005. His determination, great personality and acquired skills made him a perfect candidate for permanent employment with one of the group's other brands. After working in customer support for a year he showed interest in Sport For All Franchising and soon became an indispensable part of the team.
Agresham was instrumental in setting up the very first Sport For All Franchise and is now responsible for rolling out franchises across the country and providing ongoing support for the existing franchisees.
Potjo Matsikane
Operations
Potjo is Sport For All's longest standing staff member, he started out as a soccer coach at the Katlehong project before it was franchised. Being one of the people who knew the business of coaching the best he was fast promoted to head coach and really kept the program running in Katlehong. When the first franchisee, Benjamin Mphahlele was appointed, Potjo showed him the ropes.
Sport For All Franchising Head Office saw Potjo's ability to learn and his passion for coaching and made him part of the team as a field support consultant.
Brian Twala started as a cricket coach for Sport For All Kathlehong in 2007 under our current Franchisee Benny Mphahlele. As a qualified level 1 cricket coach, Brian has a passion for sport and love for children.
In October 2008 Brian got an opportunity to join Head Office. Brian is currently managing Sport For All Atteridgeville until a new franchisee is appointed. Brain is an active member of Katlehong Athletics club and in the last two year has successfully completed two Comrades Marathons.
